Mario Kart Wii North American Release Date
Mario Kart Wii, sure to be the greatest Wii game to date, will be released on April 27, 2008. You know I've already pre-ordered my copy, fools. Becca comes back from Amsterdam on the 26th, so whooping my ass in some Mario Kart action should be a nice welcome home present. Although this isn't Super Nintendo, so I might be able to overthrow her as reigning champeen.

Mario Kart Wii arrived here yesterday morning. Tonight I signed onto the WFC (Wi-Fi Connection) for some online kart action for the first time and let me tell you, it's pretty frick awesome. The tracks are insane, the gameplay and controls are great, and the online performance is excellent (I never experienced any lag, even when there were ten racers on the track - I did only play with U.S. players, though). The original Mario Kart may be a classic, but this game is going to be a classic in its own right. Plus it has one feature that other games don't - my girlfriend will actually play it with me!
But I am the reigning Mario Kart Champion of the World and I have the college GPA to prove it. Can't wait to get my online gaming on with my NYC peeps though.
