Five Blown Manholes in Brooklyn Heights

Though not as x-rated as the title might imply, there was some excitement in our neighborhood this afternoon. Apparently resulting from some home renovations gone bad a couple of blocks from our apartment, there was an underground explosion that blew off five manhole covers. I didn't see the blast - just the fire trucks on my way back from lunch at Grimaldi's.
