Okay, so my numero uno man is coming to NYC to perform four shows each with a special guest. I had heard about this a few weeks before the tickets went on sale, so basically I prepared myself for purchasing. The Saturday the tickets went on sale Paul and I had our schedules revolving around the time one could purchase. I was even going to leave him at the restaurant table to go home and prepare; luckily our waitress got the point we were impatient. We hurried home to jump on the Internet, he on one computer and myself on another (you know ready to refresh like crazy). Well, tickets go on sale and guess what? They were sold out before I could shed my first tear. SO! I come home today, weeks after heartbreak, and Paul bought tickets on eBay. Holy shit we are going to RUFUS! It's the Saturday show with Jason Hart. I don't know much about that kid, but his influences are Kate Bush and he had me at that. SO God does love me.
